ORAL CARE RECYCLING PROGRAM BY OXLEY STATE SCHOOL

Every year, thousands of used pieces of oral care product packaging end up in landfills across Australia. Colgate and TerraCycle have partnered to give a second life to your used oral care packaging. Rather than ending up in the environment, the used oral care packaging is melted, and remoulded to make new recycled products.

Oxley State School is signed up for the Colgate Community Garden Challenge. They will collect our community's oral care waste for recycling with Terracycle and while doing so, earn points towards winning an ultimate garden kit for the school!

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Collect any old toothbrushes or electric toothbrush heads, toothpaste tubes and floss containers (ask your friends and extended family to help too!).

2. Bring them to The Station, Oxley and drop them into the bright green collection bin located between Woolworths and Priceline.

3. These items will be boxed up and sent to Terracycle for recycling. Each item will earn Oxley State School points towards winning an ultimate garden kit.

4. You can also help Oxley State School earn points by voting for them (Oxley State School P&C) online via the TerraCycle website
